
Sialo welcomes new challenge after move to Iraq

He helped Trailblazers qualify for the KVF playoffs and finished third in their first season in the top-tier league.
Trailblazers opposite and Wafalme Stars player, Moses Omondi Sialo has officially penned a season long deal with top Iraqi volleyball side Erbil Club.
Sialo, a former Kenyatta University player is not new to professional volleyball as he has featured in several leagues outside Kenya before joining Trailblazers when they came to be in 2021.

"I am happy for this new challenge and I am ready to give it my all. Erbil is a big club, one that plays in the Asian Club Championship and the Iraq league is very competitive.
I am, however, prepared for this and I know I am up to the task. I will grab the opportunity and I know it will be a great learning experience," offered Sialo in an interview with KBC before his departure.
Sialo has reportedly featured in the Rwandese league for Rwanda Energy and also had a short stint in the Japanese top tier league featuring for Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler.
He adds to the list of Kenyan players who have landed professional deals this season led by General Service Unit (GSU) trio of Abiud Chirchir, Simeon Kipkorir and Brian Melly as well as the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) duo of Enock Mogeni and Peter Kamara.
